"146.83" is a piece I composed and performed as my thesis project for my Degree at SAIC. I aimed to ritualize sound in and of itself by arraning justly tuned frequencies and digital textural elements. The piece was performed in the stairwell of SAIC's Washington Gallery; played loudly through two speakers and a subwoofer. This performance amalgamized my research on the math of musical harmony, my deep interest in how these relationships can be expressed through computer code, and my love for analog synthesizers and digital processing of sound.
